Services May Include any of the following treatment methods:

Orthopedic Assessment- A systematic method of gathering information to make the best possible decisions for treatment of muscular, fascia, tendon and ligament pain and injury.

Deep Tissue Massage- A method that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. It uses cross fiber friction and slow muscle stripping. 

Myofascial Release- An Osteopathic soft-tissue stretching technique used on specific tight or restricted areas of the body.

Muscle Energy Technique (MET)- An Osteopathic manipulation, addresses soft-tissue directed and controlled by the clients partial muscular contraction. It helps to improve joint function and reduce pain.

Active Release Technique (ART)- A technique targeting muscular adhesions in soft tissue that helps to restore smooth muscular movement.

Trigger Point Therapy- The treatment of hyperirritable nodules within tight bands of skeletal muscle that have common referred pain patterns.

Active Isolated Stretching (AIS)- An assisted muscle-specific stretch, involving repetitive motions that gently move through the resistance barrier of the muscle.

DonTigny Method- The treatment of Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction (SIJD) that uses a gentle painless correction which is achieved by specifically applied traction on the properly positioned joint that will restore normal function & provide immediate pain relief. (thelowback.com)

Hesch Method- A subset of Orthopedic manual therapy that is an effective treatment strategy to restore normal joint function in the Pelvis, Sacroiliac, Symphysis Pubis, Hip & Lumbar spine.(heschmethod.com)

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)-  A technique using the form of full strength muscular contractions against the therapists resistance to increase range of motion.

Kinesio Taping (CKTP)- The use of a specialized cotton tape, Kinesio taping enhances the body's natural healing process as it gently provides support to injured muscles and joints.

Personal Training Advisement  (CPT)- As a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), a nationally recognized organization that is highly respected in the sports community, an assessment of your current training can be made. I can advise how to improve your muscular balance though exercise to help with posture and function.

Oncology Massage (S4OM)- A specialized massage session that has been adjusted to the clients needs pre or post treatment.  While using sound clinical judgment, oncology specific massage provides symptom management and improves well being. Oncology Massage is gentle, soothing and supportive. A current member of The Society for Oncology Massage.

Cupping- A historical medical practice in which a glass cups are used to increase the blood supply to an area of the musculature.
